Did you know 'het Elfenbankje' is Dutch for 'fairy bench'? This enchanting name comes from a charming little mushroom --known as turkey tail-- that adorn tree trunks.

Legend has it that fairies gather on these tiny forest seats to rest their wings. We chose to stick to our Dutch name as a nod to the forests of our homeland, the Netherlands! Just like the fairies' little perches, our shop is a place for seekers of magic, whimsy and a touch of the extraordinary!
