We take our time to find the perfect pieces—no dropshipping, no mass-produced bulk orders, just thoughtfully selected treasures that bring joy and inspiration. Because we choose each item with such care, we always keep our stock relatively small, ensuring that every piece we offer is truly special.
For now, we are an online shop, but our dream is to open a physical store in the Netherlands, making it even easier for people to discover our collection in person. Until then, we are working hard to bring a little more magic to your world, one special find at a time.
Our Story
Hi! I’m Froukje, the founder of Het Elfenbankje. I’m a history student with a deep love for all things whimsical and magical. Ever since I can remember, I’ve found joy in making life feel a little more enchanted—whether through sewing, crochet, writing, baking, decorating, or searching for the perfect treasures at fantasy fairs and LARP events. For me, it’s never been about escaping reality, but about making the everyday feel just a little more magical.
That’s exactly why I started Het Elfenbankje. I wanted to share that feeling with others, to help people surround themselves with beauty and wonder in their daily lives. Every product in the shop is something I’ve carefully chosen—not just as something pretty, but as something to spark joy, inspire, and bring a touch of magic into your world.
